Why Private Lessons?

While group classes provide a community of musicians to inspire your student(s), concepts cannot always be tailored to a specific student in a group. Private lessons allow the student to have the undivided attention of the teacher. Students who study privately tend to possess better techniques and reading abilities. Once a student has established a foundation in piano, he/she often pairs private study with group classes. This scenario gives the student the best of both worlds: Personalized instruction and guidance, as well as a community of musicians, such as himself/herself.
